ABOUT LOUIS

He has spent six years in City Government, Fifteen years in Eskom up to 1990 and for more than twenty years he has been an educator, coach/mentor and Independent International consultant based at different times in Boston, Amsterdam, Dublin and Johannesburg. He is a past Fellow of the Colorado State University Scenario Planning Institute.

Louis works in Africa, and internationally, as a consultant, strategy facilitator, executive-coach/mentor and -educator. His core competence is in Scenario based Strategy, Systems Thinking, Leadership Development and Organisation effectiveness.

He has a passion for developing capacity in general and specifically through coaching and Personal Development Planning (PDP). This is usually done in parallel with his work in large organisational systems, also in start up companies and through coaching individuals. His preferred approach is always to engage with clients and their organisations as a whole system.

He has a Bachelors Degree from University of Pretoria, majoring in Economics. Psychology. and Ethnology and a Masters Degree in Applied Behaviour from City University, Seattle, USA. He holds a PhD (Development and Management) from North West University.

Publications consist of a number of international refereed Journal publications, conference papers, book chapters and books.
